It's been too long since my last post, but I assure you it's with good reason. First, it is, of course, busy busy gigging season, but there is some really rather spectacular news afoot which has taken up even more of our time. The NoteSpeak journey is well underway. Stay tuned for more on that...
In the meantime, I ran across a Russian review of NoteSpeak that was so kind. It's a moving experience to find such unsolicited interest and enthusiasm. Here's the link- but it's, er, in Russian so here's a little tidbit translated for those of you who are not fluent.
‘…the material turned out at the same time incredibly solid and as versatile as possible. They’ve brought together classics and avant-garde, modern instruments with acoustic, aesthetics of jazz and the energy of electronic music with amazing ease and organicity. As soon as you listen to the relaxing jazz passages suddenly a dense groove of hip-hop bursts into it, which then cuts into dashing fusion overflowing into layers, leading into acid psychedelia which ripens - and so consistently, you won’t be bored.
We cannot but send our compliments to the musicians, because the material turned out at the same time incredibly solid and as versatile as possible. They've brought together classics and avant-garde, modern instruments with acoustic, aesthetics of jazz and the energy of electronic music with amazing ease and authenticity.

But do not forget about the lyrics, which, as is already known, calls on the listener not to remain indifferent, urging not only to change the environment but also himself.'
